Srinagar, Mar 31: Several gunshots were heard during a cordon and search operation in the Arham village of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday evening, officials said.
An official said that the security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Arham village today evening.
He said the operation was launched following a tip off about the presence of terrorists in the area.
“During searches few gunshots were heard, while the area been sealed to prevent terrorists from escaping,” he added. (KNO)
