Stresses on quality, timely completion of ongoing development projects

Rajouri, May 11: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary Monday conducted an extensive tour of the Nowshera constituency in Rajouri district to assess the progress of various ongoing developmental projects and review public service delivery across key sectors.
The Deputy Chief Minister visited the Sub-District Hospital Sunderbani, where he inspected the healthcare facilities, patient care services and overall functioning of the hospital. He directed the concerned officers to ensure efficient healthcare delivery, adequate medical facilities and prompt public service for the people.
He also inspected the ongoing works at the PWD (R&B) Guest House Kangri and emphasized the need for timely completion of the project while maintaining high quality standards.
At Siot Morh, the Deputy Chief Minister reviewed the progress on the Siot–Kalakote PMGSY Road project. Stressing the importance of improved road connectivity, he directed the executing agencies to expedite the work for the convenience of the local population.
The Deputy Chief Minister, later, visited the under-construction MCH Hospital at Lamberi and assessed the pace of work on the project.
Reviewing the ongoing developmental works on Dhera Road, he reiterated the importance of quality execution and timely completion to enhance connectivity and public convenience.
During his visit to Bagnoti Nallah Bridge, the Deputy Chief Minister inspected the ongoing construction works. He directed the officers to expedite the project while ensuring durability and adherence to safety standards.
He also visited the I&FC Guest House Rajal and inspected the developmental works being carried out there. He stressed for efficient execution and improvement of infrastructure facilities for greater public benefit.
At the PWD (R&B) Guest House Nowshera, the Deputy Chief Minister reviewed several ongoing developmental initiatives in the constituency.
Interacting with the officers, he reiterated the government’s commitment towards timely implementation of public welfare and infrastructure projects.
The Deputy Chief Minister further visited the Sports Stadium Nowshera and inspected the ongoing developmental works at the stadium.
“The government is focused on creation of sports infrastructure and develop better facilities to promote youth engagement and nurture sporting talent in all areas,” he said.
The Deputy Chief Minister also inspected the facilities and functioning at Sub-District Hospital Nowshera. He directed the authorities to ensure improved patient care, adequate medical infrastructure and better healthcare services for the public.
Later, the Deputy Chief Minister visited the bridge project at Masiti Mohalla Nonial and reviewed the ongoing construction works. He stressed the need for timely completion of the bridge to improve connectivity and facilitate smooth movement for local residents.
Senior officers accompanying the Deputy Chief Minister during the tour included the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Superintending Engineers, Executive Engineers of various engineering wings, Block Medical Officers (BMOs) and other concerned officials.
