Srinagar, May 31: In a significant outreach initiative, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a Mann Ki Baat listening programme for the first time in the Khanyar area of Shehr-e-Khas on Sunday under the leadership of BJP Genral Secretary Mohammad Anwar Khan.
The programme witnessed the participation of local residents, party workers, and supporters who gathered to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio address “Mann Ki Baat”.
Participants attentively listened to the Prime Minister’s message focusing on public welfare, youth empowerment, social awareness, and nation-building initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Anwar Khan said that holding the programme in the heart of Downtown Srinagar reflects the growing public engagement with the Prime Minister’s vision and developmental agenda. He emphasized that Mann Ki Baat has become an effective platform connecting citizens with positive stories, grassroots innovations, and national aspirations.
Khan highlighted that the enthusiastic response from local residents demonstrated increasing interest in constructive public discourse and development-oriented governance. He reiterated BJP’s commitment to strengthening its outreach in every corner of Jammu and Kashmir and ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the common people.
