Rajouri, Jun 25: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary Thursday reviewed the status of developmental activities and public service delivery in Sunderbani and Kalakote during his visit to Rajouri district.
While proceeding towards Kalakote, the Deputy Chief Minister held an interaction with the officers at Sunderbani and assessed the progress of ongoing developmental works and implementation of various public welfare initiatives. He emphasized the need for efficient service delivery and timely completion of development projects to ensure that the benefits reach the people at the grassroots level.
The Deputy Chief Minister also visited the Sub-District Hospital, Sunderbani, where he inspected the ongoing renovation works being undertaken to strengthen the healthcare infrastructure and improve patient facilities. He directed the concerned officials to maintain quality standards and ensure timely completion of the works.
During his visit to Kalakote, Surinder Choudhary paid obeisance at the revered Barohi Darbar and prayed for peace, harmony and prosperity for all. He highlighted the importance of preserving the region’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.
The Deputy Chief Minister also held an extensive interaction with the local residents, public representatives and party leaders in Kalakote. He patiently listened to their concerns, suggestions and developmental demands, assuring them that their genuine issues would be addressed on priority.
Later, at Dak Bungalow Kalakote, the Deputy Chief Minister interacted with the officers and members of the public to review the ongoing development works and discuss the issues related to public welfare. He stressed the importance of responsive governance, transparency and people-centric administration.
Surinder Choudhary reiterated that the government remains committed to accelerate the developmental initiatives, strengthen the public infrastructure and ensure that the aspirations of the people are fulfilled through effective and accountable governance.
He said that continuous public engagement and feedback from the people remain essential for achieving sustainable growth and improving the quality of life across Jammu and Kashmir.
