Jammu, Jul 3: Nitin Nabin will undertake his first two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s national president on July 6 and 7, during which he is expected to review the political situation in the Union Territory and interact with party leaders and workers.
According to party sources, Nabin will arrive in Jammu on July 6 and address a public rally organised to mark the birth anniversary of Syama Prasad Mookerjee.
During the visit, he will hold meetings with senior BJP leaders, MLAs and party functionaries to assess the prevailing political scenario, seek organisational feedback and discuss strategies for strengthening the party in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources said the discussions will also focus on the implementation of welfare schemes and flagship programmes of the Central Government in the Union Territory.
Besides Jammu, Nabin is also scheduled to visit Udhampur as part of his two-day tour. (KINS)
