Srinagar, Jul 16: Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Thursday reviewed the ongoing anti-terror operations in the border districts of Rajouri and Poonch during an operational review meeting held at Thana Mandi.
The meeting was attended by senior officers of the Army’s 25 Division, Romeo Force, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), who discussed the prevailing security situation and the progress of counter-terror operations in the region.
During the review, the DGP stressed the need for close coordination among all security agencies and urged the forces to relentlessly pursue and neutralise Pakistani terrorists operating in the area. He also emphasised maintaining a high level of operational preparedness to ensure peace and security in the twin border districts.
The officers present briefed the DGP on the ongoing operations and the overall security scenario in Rajouri and Poonch. (KINS)
