Unidentified woman’s body recovered from Salal Dam in Reasi

Reasi, Aug 8: The body of an unidentified woman, aged around 20 to 25 years, was recovered from the Salal Dam area of Reasi district on Saturday morning.
The body was recovered in the morning, following which personnel from SDRF Reasi, the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team and Police Post Talwara reached the spot.
The body was taken into custody by the police for completion of legal formalities and further proceedings.
Authorities have initiated efforts to establish the identity of the deceased woman. Further details regarding the circumstances leading to the death are awaited. [KNT]
