Ashok Koul leads ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Yatra in Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug 13: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Thursday organised a grand “Har Ghar Tiranga” Car Rally from The Lalit Grand Palace to Nishat in Srinagar, with BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul leading the Yatra.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of young participants, party workers and local residents. BJP State Secretary Arif Raja, Mudasir Wani, Additional State Office Secretary J&K, Shalinder Singh, Yuva Morcha State Vice President, Khalid Baqal, State General Secretary Yuva Morcha Majid Khan and other Yuva Morcha leaders also participated in the rally.
Streets along the Boulevard turned into a dazzling sea of saffron, white and green as decorated vehicles carrying the Tricolour moved in a grand convoy towards Nishat. The event was organised as part of the nationwide “Har Ghar Tiranga” celebrations, reflecting the spirit of patriotism, peace, national unity and public participation across Jammu & Kashmir. The procession moved along Boulevard Road amid patriotic chants and slogans. Dozens of cars adorned with the national flag created a vibrant spectacle for locals and tourists, further adding to the festive atmosphere along the banks of Dal Lake.
Addressing the gathering, senior BJP leaders appreciated the overwhelming participation of the youth and said that such programmes strengthen the spirit of national unity while encouraging young people to actively contribute to nation-building. The leaders highlighted that the rally was part of a series of patriotic and organisational programmes being held across Jammu & Kashmir, including in Srinagar and Ganderbal. They said the enthusiastic participation of the people reflects their commitment to peace, progress, unity and the development of the region.
The rally concluded near the historic Nishat Bagh, where participants reaffirmed their commitment to peace, progress and national unity. The BJYM leadership expressed gratitude to all participants and said the successful Yatra reflected the spirit of a vibrant and forward-looking Jammu & Kashmir, where patriotism and developmental aspirations go hand in hand.
