Srinagar, Aug 19: The Jammu and Kashmir administration is likely to carry out a major reshuffle of civil and police officers in the coming days, official sources said on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and Superintendents of Police (SSPs) across several districts are expected to be affected in the proposed exercise, they said.
“The competent authority has initiated the process. Senior civil officials, including DCs and administrative secretaries, besides senior police officers, are likely to be transferred,” a source said.
The source further said the list of officers to be shifted was nearly finalised and could be issued anytime in the next couple of days. (KNS)
