Srinagar, Aug 20: The Central deputation of IAS officer Shah Faesal has been extended by another two years, allowing him to continue as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Culture until September 18, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on August 19, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the Ministry of Culture’s proposal to extend Faesal’s central deputation under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Faesal, an AGMUT:2010-batch IAS officer, has been serving on central deputation since September 19, 2022.
The latest order extends his tenure beyond September 18, 2026, for a further period of two years.
He will continue to serve as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Culture under the approved extension.
The order was issued by the Office of the Establishment Officer, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India. [KNT]
