Ganderbal, Aug 22: Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Saturday conducted a comprehensive operational and security review of Temporary Operating Bases (TOBs) in the Chattergul and Wangat areas of Ganderbal district.
The DGP was accompanied by Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir Zone, and Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Central Kashmir Range, during the visit.
During the inspection, DGP Nalin Prabhat took detailed stock of the operational preparedness, security arrangements and prevailing security situation at the Temporary Operating Bases.
He reviewed the deployment and functioning of the forces stationed at the TOBs and assessed their preparedness to effectively respond to emerging security challenges in the area.
SSP Ganderbal and other senior police officers also accompanied the visiting officers during the operational review.
The visit formed part of the police leadership’s ongoing efforts to strengthen security preparedness and operational capabilities in sensitive and strategically important areas of the district. (KNC)
