Srinagar, Sep 3: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir has sought details of employees who acquired higher educational qualifications through regular mode during service without obtaining prior permission and subsequently failed to submit their cases under the prescribed One-Time Exemption mechanism.
In a communication to Chief Education Officers across Kashmir, the Directorate has asked for details of employees whose cases fall under Government Order No. 264-JK(Edu) of 2025 but who did not submit their exemption files despite an earlier directive.
The CEOs have been asked to provide the names and designations of such employees, their places of posting, qualifications acquired, dates of completion and reasons for failure to submit their cases within the stipulated period
The information has been sought within seven days.
The latest directive follows the Government order issued in April 2025 and a subsequent communication from DSEK in May last year inviting eligible employees to submit their One-Time Exemption cases. [KNT]
