Bandipora, Sep 26: Awareness camp was organized Saturday at Dak Bungalow, Dawar, Gurez by the Mission YUVA Team, Gurez for ex-servicemen.
During the programme, detailed information was provided to the ex-servicemen regarding financial assistance, self-employment opportunities, and various Government-linked schemes, particularly the benefits and opportunities available under Mission YUVA.
The programme was chaired by Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Gurez and Arshid Ahmad Khan, Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Baramulla.
The Mission YUVA Financial Expert, along with the BHD Team, Gurez, briefed the participants about the Mission YUVA scheme, including financial assistance, eligibility criteria, subsidy/interest subvention, required documentation, and the procedure for submission and approval of cases.
The participants were encouraged to avail themselves of various Government schemes and explore opportunities for establishing sustainable income-generating activities and self-employment ventures.
The camp witnessed active participation from the ex-servicemen. Their queries regarding financial assistance, eligibility, and various Government schemes were addressed by the concerned officers and the Mission YUVA team.
