Foreign tourists praise Kashmir’s beauty, hospitality

Srinagar, Oct 3: Foreign tourists visiting Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday spoke highly of the region’s breathtaking landscapes, warm hospitality and rich cultural heritage, describing their experiences in Kashmir as memorable and welcoming.
Interacting on the sidelines of an event organised by Tourist Police J&K at Zabarwan Park, several foreign visitors shared their impressions of Kashmir, particularly appreciating its natural beauty and the warmth extended to them by local people.
The tourists spoke of Kashmir’s mountains, lakes, greenery and picturesque landscapes, saying that the region offered an experience that went beyond its scenic attractions. They also appreciated the hospitality of local residents, describing the people as friendly, helpful and welcoming towards visitors.
The visitors said their interactions with local communities had added to their travel experience, while the combination of natural beauty, cultural richness and traditional hospitality made Kashmir a distinctive destination.
They also expressed appreciation for the arrangements and facilities available to tourists, saying they felt comfortable exploring the region and hoped to return to Kashmir in the future.
The interaction formed part of an initiative by Tourist Police J&K aimed at highlighting the experiences of foreign visitors and showcasing Jammu and Kashmir as a welcoming destination for tourists from across the world. [KNT]
