Charandeep Singh assumes charge as DC Shopian

Shopian, Oct 8: Charandeep Singh Thursday assumed charge as Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian.
Speaking after assuming the charge, he outlined his core priorities for the district, emphasizing proactive governance, complete transparency and the time-bound delivery of public services.
The DC underscored the critical need for seamless inter-departmental coordination to accelerate the execution of ongoing development projects, infrastructure initiatives and welfare schemes across Shopian.
“Our primary aim will be to ensure a responsive, transparent and accountable administration at all levels,” he added.
The DC emphasized that Public grievance redressal, rural infrastructure strengthening and ensuring basic amenities reach every corner of the district will remain top priorities.
He further called upon district officers and field staff to work with dedication, integrity and a result-oriented approach to meet public expectations effectively.
