Cabinet expansion to take place after Lt Governor’s return: Dr Farooq

Jammu, Oct 19: J&K BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma on Monday described Mann Ki Baat as an important platform for public engagement, saying it highlights grassroots achievements and inspires citizens to contribute to nation-building.
Chairing an organisational review meeting at the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, Sharma called upon party workers to strengthen booth-level mobilisation and take the programme’s message to every household.
He said the monthly radio programme has brought inspiring stories of ordinary citizens to the forefront and encouraged public participation in areas such as sports, innovation, entrepreneurship, environmental protection and social service.
Sharma also stressed the need for greater public participation in programme broadcasts, adding that party workers should engage with local residents and promote community initiatives.
The meeting also reviewed recently concluded organisational programmes and preparations for upcoming activities, with a focus on coordination and strengthening the party’s organisational network across Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting was attended by BJP office-bearers, legislators and other senior party leaders. (KINS)
