Jammu, Nov 17: A delegation of Kashmir Lawyers Association called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha and apprised him about their concerning issues, at the Raj Bhavan here Wednesday.
During the interaction, the delegation led by Waseem Gul highlighted a host of issues related to the welfare of the fraternity. The deputation called for an institutionalised social security scheme including life and health insurance for young lawyers, besides drawing attention towards the reconstitution of consumer courts in the UT, among other demands for lawyers’ welfare.
The Lt Governor gave a patient hearing to the members of the delegation and assured that all of their genuine demands and issues will be redressed in a time bound manner.
