Srinagar, Dec 27: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday claimed to have arrested two militant associates linked with JeM and recovered incriminating materials from their possession.
A police spokesman in a statement, said that acting on specific input, Pulwama Police along with 44RR and 182BN CRPF apprehended 02 militant associates linked with JeM.
They have been identified as Adil Ali, son of Ali Mohd Bhat of Acchan and Asif Gulzar, son of Gulzar Ahmad Dar of Hajidarpora, police said, adding that incriminating materials of JeM were recovered from their possession.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the arrested duo were in touch with JeM commanders and were involved in providing logistics, shelter as well as transportation of arms, ammunition and explosive materials to the militants of JeM to strengthen terror networks operating across district Budgam,” police said.
Accordingly, police said that a case under relevant sections of law stands already registered at Police Station Litter and further investigation is under process.
