Dastaq: Digital Training Programme held at Shopian

Shopian, Jan 27: As part of ‘Dastaq’, a digital training programme was Thursday organized at the Meeting Hall of Mini-Secretariat Arhama, here.
The training programme was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani.
During the programme, unemployed Youth of the district were made aware about know-how of various schemes and were informed that a web portal namely Dastaq.in has been designed and put into the public sphere by District Administration which shall act as a single window platform for youth to get details about self-employment schemes/units of all departments and select their preferred sector to generate employment for themselves.
They were further informed that they need not visit in person to any of the office to put an end to redtapism, Nepotism, Favouritism and corruption. They just need to login to Dastaq.in where they can get all the information they require about various Centrally Sponsored Schemes and others.
Among others, General Manager DIC Tanveer ul Majid, BDO Shopian Jahid Azad, CAO Dr Ishrat Shakeel, DSHO and other concerned officers besides applicants of various sectors interested to establish employment units through Dastaq Portal attended the training programme.
The training was imparted by Master Trainer, Dr Farhat to the applicants and they were made aware about the use of the portal, the file of grievances and status of application, mechanism of accountability and also the foolproof service delivery system.
Training was also imparted with regard to necessary documents required for the Jammu and Kashmir Self Employment Schemes on this behalf.
