Sopore, Feb 19: A youth was killed while two others sustained injuries in Mazbugh area Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Saturday.
The officials said that one person died on the spot after a bike he was traveling on was hit by a speedy load carrier at Mazbugh area of Sopore.
In the incident, two more persons sustained injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment from where the duo were shifted to Srinagar hospital.
While confirming the incident, a police official identified the deceased as Burhan Ahmad, son of Tariq Ahmad while the injured have been identified as Uzair Ahmad, son of Muhammad Abdullah and Haris Ahmad Dar, son of Nazir Ahmad Dar—all residents of Dobgah.
“A case has been registered and investigations started,” the police official said. (KNO)
