Srinagar Apr 7: The Government Nursing College Baramulla Thursday observed “World Health Day ”.
The teaching faculty, non-teaching staff and all the B.Sc. Nursing Ist year students of nursing college took part in the program.
Various activities conducted by B.Sc Nursing students were focused on the theme, “our planet our health were mainly focused on importance and benefits health”.
Various charts and posters were prepared and presented by various B.Sc. Nursing Ist year students of Nursing College including Jasim Hussain, Qurat ul Ain, Tabassum Kareem, Safeena Yousuf, Syed Zulkarnain, Nazira Majeed. They also participated in a seminar and explained the basis of a specific topic.
Besides the students also took part in quiz competition.
The principal of the Government Nursing College Baramulla Dr. Dilshada Wani forwarded the message regarding world health day in which she explained the importance of health and impact of various unhealthy human practices on the planet.
Organizing secretary of the program Mir Uzma Ashraf also shared the valuable suggestions regarding the theme.
Other teaching faculty Arshid Nazir Shah, Javid Ahmad Mir, Kousar ul Islam and Afshana Qadir expressed their views on the said theme.
The event came to an end with vote of thanks followed by price distribution among students and Iftar refreshment.
