Man killed in stone quarry accident in G’bl

Ganderbal, Apr 11: A man died in an accident at a stone quarry while another sustained injuries at Kohistan Colony, Safapora area of Ganderbal district on Monday, officials said.
Officials said that the deceased had been identified Khursheed Ahmad Leharwal (29) s/o of Ghulam Hassan, a resident of Kondabal while the injured has been identified as Ghulam Nani Leharwal son of Abdul Gafar Leharwal.
Both were shifted to nearby hospital but Khursheed succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital, officials said. Meanwhile, police have reached the spot and investigation is going on.
