Bandipora Jun 22: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak on Wednesday administered oath to the newly elected President and Vice-President of the Municipal Council Bandipora.
The elections for these posts were held recently after the former President and vice president lost the floor test during a No-Confidence Motion moved against them by the members
Basharat Hussain Najar was elected as the President of the Municipal Council Bandipora while Naseer Ahmad Mir was elected as the Vice-President.
ADDC after administering the oath to the newly elected office bearers congratulated them and hoped that the new team will work for the development of town.
Executive Officer MC Bandipora, Wali Mohammad and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
