Srinagar, May 18: Senior journalist and Resident Editor of an Urdu newspaper” Daily Srinagar News” died on Tuesday after a prolonged illness. He was 70.
Gulzar, a popular face within the media fraternity, was unwell for many years. In fact, for the last three years, he was not able to move around and was bedridden.
He breathed his last at his Sholipora house in the central Kashmir district of Badgam.
A number of media organizations besides senior journalist have condoled the demise of Gulzar. His senior and junior colleagues in the media fraternity remember him as a gentle and pious soul.
