Advancing brain health: How technology is transforming brain tumor treatment

The electricity in Jammu and Kashmir has always landed the people here in trouble, especially during the winter season as the hours-long curtailment pushes the people to reel under darkness. The situation has never changed for the local consumers here and despite that the people here have always paid the monthly tariff despite facing hardships and witnessing the frequent power cuts. However, Thursday’s statement from the government with regard to electricity has come as an utter shock to the people as the statement claiming that there will be no free electricity to the people and they will have to pay from now onwards. One fails to understand whom the government is referring to as the people here have always been cooperative and despite witnessing less electricity, they have never feigned ignorance in paying the monthly tariff. It seems that the government was earlier supplying electricity free of cost to the consumers. It needs to be understood that adequate electricity has always remained a distant dream for the people despite the tall claims of the successive regime so far with regard to the better power supply, especially during winters. The people here have been pushed to the wall always and nobody seems concerned to put an end to the sufferings of the people and in the meantime, the government is coming up with more stringent measures that are set to add to the misery of people here, who belong to the economically weaker class. The government needs to reconsider its decision for those who are economically weak so that they can heave a sigh of relief.
