Shopian, Jul 14: A man was seriously injured after being attacked by a wild bear in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports said that a bear attacked a man while he was passing through an orchard at Chek Ramnagri village of Shopian.
The man sustained critical injuries and was shifted to District Hospital Shopian where doctors referred him to SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
The victim has been identified as Nazir Ahmed Chohan son of Jamaludding Chohan, a resident of Chek Ramnagri Shopian. (KNT)
