Srinagar, Jul 16: A speeding vehicle hit a motorcycle on a rainy morning killing the motorcyclist and injuring his wife (pillion rider) in Srinagar outskirts.
The CCTV footage reveals a motorcyclist along with a pillion rider taking a right turn while a vehicle coming from the back hits them.
The incident occurred at 90 feet road in Ahmad Nagar area of Srinagar outskirts.
Reports said that passers-by shifted the husband-wife duo to the SKIMS where the 58-yer old husband Farooq Ahmad Wani of Ellahi Bagh succumbed to his injuries while the condition of his 55-year-old wife Naseema Begum is stated to be critical.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. (KNT)
