Anantnag, May 20: A 52-year-old pedestrian was killed after he was hit by an unknown biker in Shangus area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday afternoon.
An official said that a 52-year-old pedestrian identified as Gulzar Ahamd Sheikh of Shangus was hit by a motorcyclist this afternoon.
However, he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police official said soon after the incident, the biker has managed to flee from the spot as it was a hit and run case, adding that an investigation has been taken up in this regard. (KNO)
