Srinagar, May 22: Army on Saturday remembered Naik Pandurang Gawade of 14 Maratha Light Infantry who was serving in 41 RR in Kupwara. During an operation on specific input of presence of 5 militants in Chak Drugmulla, he fought valiantly, neutralised 2 militants personally and made the supreme sacrifice. He was awarded Shourya Chakra posthumously.
