Keep Kashmir connected

It has been years now since the government has been claiming high and tall about ensuring implementation of approved fee structure in Jammu and Kashmir, but unfortunately the parents here continue to pay hefty amounts as monthly fee to the schools as the concerned department is seemingly in deep slumber, watching the arrogance and harassment of the private institutions as mute spectators. One fails to understand why the private educational institutions have been let loose to take any decision that is not only against the aspirations of the students and parents, but also in violation of the government set norms as well. The directives issued by the government from time to time seem to have no takers on the ground as the private educational institutions have been charging exorbitant fees from the students, which indicates that some blue-eyed persons instead of creating educated society, are out to loot the public in the name of education. The arrogant attitude of the private educational institutions has always put the poor section of the society to lurch at large, but the concerned education department hardly bothers to look into the matter and bring some respite to the downtrodden section of the society. It is the time when the private educational institutions need to be made accountable for all the wrong doings and ensure that they are not allowed to loot the public in open. Besides, the other violations should also be looked at thoroughly so that the general public could heave a sigh of relief.
