Qazigund, May 28: A biker and a pillion rider were killed after an unknown vehicle hit their two-wheeler at Al-Stop area of Qazigund in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, an official said.
An official said that a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03J-2738 was hit by an unknown vehicle at Al-Stop area, resulting in on spot death of the biker and pillion rider.
The duo have been identified as Shahid Ah Malla, son of Abdul Rashid Malla and Majid Rahim Kanai, son of Abdul Rahim Kanai—both residents of Boongund Dooru.
“It was a hit and run case,” the official said, adding that a case has been registered under relevant sections of law and further investigations has been taken up to crack the case.
