Ganderbal, Feb 22: Police have registered a case and started an investigation after a throat-slit body was found on the rooftop of the house of the slain in Babapora, Kulan Gund hamlet of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The slain has been identified as Muhammad Shaban Najar son of Ghulam Rasool.
Family members informed the Gund Police that they found the throat-slit body of Muhammad Shaban on the rooftop of the house.
A police official said that after the post-mortem body was handed over to the family for last rites while a murder case was registered at police station Gund. [KNT]
