Cruelty at peak-Capital punishment needed

The gruesome murder of a lady in central Kashmir’s Budgam district has left the whole society in utter shock as the way she was murdered is something that could not be even imagined. The accused has been arrested though, but it is not enough to ensure justice to the victim, but the time calls for exemplary punishment to the involved person so that nobody could dare to take such an extreme step in the future. The people all across on the social media have been condemning the murder of the lady and have been demanding stern action against the involved person. The incident has also led to the protest wherein the protesters called for strict action. Such incidents are testimony to the fact that the lady is not safe even within her own society, where other than harassments, eve-teasing, domestic violence, they face the cruel persons as well. However, the administration, especially Jammu & Kashmir Police have to play a key role in ensuring justice to the person involved in the murder of the lady. Such a ghastly murderer deserves capital punishment and thus there is a need to consider the sentence in this regard so that justice is delivered. Such an incident reveals how the people have lost their path of humanity for which Kashmir is known all across. These murderers are not less than a disgrace on the land of Sufi saints. The concerned authorities must speed up the process in the case and present the charge sheet at earliest so that the deserving punishment is ensured against the involved person shortly.
