Keep Kashmir connected

Jammu and Kashmir has completely shifted to the online mode as the government is focused towards the digital J&K. Like documentations and other processes in the government departments, the people too have been opting for online facilities like banking and other related things. People use different mobile banking applications here while going for hopping, business related deals and other things. But, all these consumers face immense hardships from the past few days as the mostly used J&K Bank’s—Mpay, a mobile banking application is witnessing frequent snags. It is not for the first time that the mobile banking application is witnessing frequent snags, but in the past too, the application has pushed people to the wall. It has been witnessed that the services go down whenever there is any special occasion like Eid or other festivals. This time too, the mobile banking services have gone down at a time when the people are busy with buying essentials and other things ahead of the Muslim festival—Eid-ul-Fitr. The people are facing tremendous difficulties as they are not able to pay their bills as most of the times the mobile application goes down. The concerned authorities should take note of the issues being faced by the people so that they would not face such hardships in the coming days when the rush of shoppers would increase across the Valley. The officials concerned should direct its men to speed up the work to resolve the issue at an earliest so that the people could heave a sigh of relief.
