Baramulla, Apr 21: Father Pepin, Principal St Joseph School Baramulla has greeted people on the eve of auspicious occasion of Eid -ul-Fitr.
While extending warm greetings on the occasion Father Pepin reminded people of the essence of Eid-ul-Fitr and said the day demands all to remember the poor, needy, helpless, and destitutes on this day of joy and happiness and share joy and love with them as well on this special occasion.
Father Pepin said that the spirit behind the observance of Eid -ul-Fitr is to express our thanks to Almighty Allah for giving us the courage and strength to observe fast in the month of Ramadhan and dedicate ourselves to the truthfulness, sincerity, self control, patience and human values besides showing complete submission and obedience to Almighty Allah.
He said that Eid also embeds the message of taking care of the poor and helpless and making them a part of the happiness by extending economic and moral support to them. He urged well off people to take care of poor and needy on Eid occasion.
