Rajouri, May 19: A ‘Darul Uloom’ student drowned to death while taking a bath on the river bank in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
Reports said that an 18-year-old seminary student was taking a bath in the river in Kanthol Koteranka area. They said the student lost his balance and drowned in the river.
His body was fished out after strenuous efforts by locals and river police.
The victim has been identified as Talib Hussain son of Muhammad Yousaf, a resident of Mahore Reasi. [KNT]
