Anantnag, Jul 3: A 15-year-old boy drowned to death in a canal in Srigufwara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district this afternoon, officials said.
They said that a boy namely Ajmal Hussain Khan, son of Master Ghulam Mohuidin Bakkerwal, a resident of Kathsoo Srigufwara drowned while bathing in Dadi canal.
Soon after a rescue operation was launched yielding retrieval of the body of the teenager boy.
A police official in the meantime also confirmed about the death of the boy in the incident. (GNS)
