Baramulla, Aug 8: Police in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district attached the vehicle of a notorious drug smuggler.
Police said that acting tough against the drug smugglers and to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, police have attached a vehicle (Maruti Car) of drug smuggler worth 60K at Mirgund Pattan in District Baramulla.
Baramulla Police led by IC PP Mirgund under the overall supervision of SDPO Pattan Mohd Nawaz attached a vehicle (Private Maruti Car) bearing registration No. JK03B-1977 worth 60K belonging to drug smuggler namely Ghulam Mohammad Dar son of Abdul Rehman Dar resident of Mirgund Pattan after completing all legal formalities. The said vehicle was linked to case FIR No. 132/2023 of Police Station Pattan. The investigation proved that the said movable property was raised from Illicit Trafficking by the drug smuggler.
