Handwara, Oct 17: At least nine persons were injured at Totigund Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district after a bus they were travelling in met with an accident.
According to reports, a passenger bus on its way to Srinagar from Kupwara skidded off the road and fell in agricultural fields, leaving about 9 individuals injured.
Officials said that the incident involved three more small vehicles (Grand i10, Eeco, Celerio) as the drivers lost their control and fell into the agricultural fields.
They said that from the spot, nine injured passengers were taken to District Hospital Handwara for treatment.
The officials further said that all injured were stable and out of danger. (KNO)
