DC conducts on site review of infra projects at Budgam

Budgam, Nov 4: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Budgam, Akshay Labroo Saturday conducted on-site review of progress made in infra projects in Budgam Town.
During the visit, the DC reviewed the progress of construction of PRI members’ Accommodation at Sheikhpora, Multi- Car parking project near DC office and ongoing renovation and beautification works at Sports Stadium Budgam.
While inspecting the interior works at PRIs Accommodation, the DC emphasised on finishing up the pending works like sanitary fittings within the shortest possible time period.
The DC also directed concerned to finish leveling of approach area and manhole construction on the approach road at the earliest.
He said that the project is almost nearing completion and would be soon dedicated in favour of strengthening democracy at the grass roots level.
Later, the DC also inspected the ongoing construction of Multi car parking facility at Budgam and renovation and beautification works at Sports Stadium Budgam.
He instructed concerned executing agencies to expedite works including paint and plaster works on the boundary walls at Sports Stadium, installation of hoarding board, tile works at seating portions and construction of practice net at the Stadium to ensure all works are completed in a stipulated time frame.
He said similarly construction of car parking be also paced up to ensure it is dedicated to the general public in the shortest possible time. He said that the timely completion of Multi level parking shall help in traffic decongestion of the main Budgam town.
He said that the district administration was keen on completing all infrastructural projects within the deadline so that the same are dedicated to the general public at the earliest.
Similarly, review of other developmental and beautification works in Budgam, especially beautifying Budgam initiative were also being given special focus by the district administration.
ADDC Budgam, Dr Akramullah Tak; ACD, Executive Engineer R&B, BDO, Tehsildar, AEEs from PHE and other engineering wings and other concerned officials accompanied the DC on the occasion.
