In a first, high-altitude telemedicine services launched for Amarnath Yatra

Anantnag, Jan 5: The transformative Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) is rapidly advancing in Block Breng Anantnag, witnessing widespread public engagement.
On the occasion, IEC Vans traversed through multiple GPs including Wandevelgam, Develgam, Wangam B, Wangam C, Vailoo, Adhall B, Gadole A, Magraypora, Senzi B, Ahlan, Gadole B and Lohar A.
The event promoted awareness about various welfare programs, encouraging active “Jan Bhagidari” for achieving 100% saturation. In Anantnag, the Yatra has surpassed expectations, uniting over 2.50 lakh participants across 335 Gram Panchayats and 138 urban local bodies, transcending mere promises.
So far, Yatra camps were transformed into lively hubs, engaging people in events and offering on-the-spot services. Health camps played a crucial role, screening 93,347 individuals for prevalent health concerns such as TB, sickle cell anemia, and non-communicable diseases.
Over 16,097 My Bharat volunteers and 2.28 lakh individuals pledged the transformative ‘Sankalp Pledge’ in District Anantnag. Noteworthy contributors, including 1,288 women, 3,601 students, 396 local artists, and 397 sports personalities, received accolades for their dedication.
The Yatra actively involved farmers through drone demonstrations and Soil Health Card sessions, promoting sustainable Natural Farming practices. It celebrated milestones in 100% JJM saturation, ODF+ status, and Digitization of Land Records.
At the core were 9,777 beneficiaries sharing their stories in ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ sessions, illustrating the profound impact of government schemes on their lives.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra transcends being an initiative; it stands as a people-driven movement for inclusive development. This journey reflects India’s commitment to holistic development, engaging, educating, and uplifting every citizen towards shared progress.
