Kishtwar, Jan 31: At least two people were killed while two others were injured after a snow cutter machine engaged in road clearance work met with an accident at Warwan in Kishtwar district, an official said.
An official said that a snow cutter machine engaged in the road clearance work at Warwan fell into a deep gorge.
He said in the accident, two people died on the spot while two others suffered injuries, who are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the government has announced Rs 5 each as ex-gratia to the next of kins of deceased and Rs one lakh for the injured.
