Avalanche hits Sarbal Sonamarg, no damage reported

Srinagar, Feb 8: A massive avalanche hit Sarbal area of Sonamarg in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday, officials said.
An official said that the avalanche struck Sarbal Sonamarg area today afternoon, however, no loss of life or damage was reported in the incident. The authorities had issued a warning for the higher reaches of Kashmir following heavy snowfall earlier last week.
