Budgam, Feb 8: A youth was electrocuted to death at Kanoora area of Khansahib in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
An official said that he was doing some work when he received an electric shock.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby health centre where he was declared dead on arrival by doctors.
He identified the youth as Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat of Hardasorish Khag.
An official said that they have taken the cognizance of the incident, adding that the body will be handed over to family after legal medical formalities. (KNO)
