Shopian, Jul 16: A year old boy of a nomadic family drowned to death in Ranbiara stream in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday morning.
An official said that the toddler namely Aaqib Ahmad son Mohammad Rafeeq, putting up with family on the bank of Ranbiara at Shirmal came out of the tent and fell into the water body.
He said that the body was immediately rescued from the water body and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. (KNO)
