Doda, Jun 16: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh, led a thorough market inspection in Doda town ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.
Accompanied by ACR Doda, Dy SP Headquarters, Dy SP Traffic, EO MC, Food Inspector, and other officials, the DC ensured compliance with regulations and standards.
The visit aimed to oversee market checking activities, prevent malpractices, and ensure the availability of essential commodities at fair prices during the festive season.
During the inspection, DC Doda Harvinder Singh interacted with vendors, traders, and shoppers to address any concerns and maintain a conducive market environment.
The DC also visited the Eidgah Doda to review arrangements for the upcoming Eid ul Azha prayers, focusing on cleanliness, safety, and overall preparedness of the Eidgah for the congregation. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining order and cleanliness in public spaces, he urged cooperation from all stakeholders to uphold communal harmony and unity during the festival.
Additionally, DC Doda urging the public not to park vehicles on roadsides in Doda.
Recognizing the importance of maintaining smooth traffic flow and ensuring pedestrian safety during the festive period, DC Doda Harvinder Singh emphasized the strict implementation of the no-parking policy on roadsides.
The District Administration of Doda remains committed to facilitating a safe and enjoyable Eid-ul-Adha celebration for all residents through proactive measures and collaborative efforts.
