Baramulla, Oct 17: Baramulla Thursday witnessed the commencement of Women’s Premier League 2024, marking a significant milestone in promoting women’s cricket in the region. The inaugural match took place at St. Joseph’s Playground, with the Deputy Cdr of the 19 Artillery Brigade gracing the event as the Chief Guest. The General Secretary of the Baramulla Cricket Forum, Zubair Bashir Dar, was also present, adding to the event’s prestige.
The league witnessed enthusiastic participation from several school teams, reflecting the growing interest and talent in women’s cricket in Baramulla.
