DC Kupwara reviews progress of Covid Vaccination process

Kupwara, Apr 22: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Thursday convened a meeting of Medical Officers to review the progress of Covid vaccination process in the district.

It was informed in the meeting that a total of 59156 Covid vaccines have been administered under first and second dose in the district. These vaccines have been inoculated to Health Care workers and Front Line workers from Police, Revenue, Municipality and PRIs.

On the occasion, the DC stressed upon the concerned Medical officers for proper utilization of opportunities and resources to achieve cent percent target of the vaccination in the district to avoid spread of the pandemic.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone; Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kauser Amin; District Immunization Officer and Block Medical officers attended the meeting.
