Srinagar, Jun 26: Advisor to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Nasir Aslam Wani Thursday stated that the National Conference is not afraid of elections and reiterated the demand for early conduct of Rajya Sabha polls in Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to reporters, Nasir emphasized that the National Conference has never shied away from the democratic process and called for the immediate restoration of statehood, terming it the fundamental right of the people of J&K.
He stressed that holding Rajya Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir without delay is essential to uphold democratic values in the region. (KINS)
