DC Kulgam inspects progress on NH-444 Project

Kulgam, Jun 30: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, on Monday conducted an extensive inspection of on-going work on National Highway (NH)-444 project in the district.
He reviewed the progress made on the Kulgam By-Pass on NH 444 stretching from Pahloo to Lirow including 378-meter-long Brazloo bridge.
During his visit, the DDC was briefed by engineers on the progress status of the NH-444 Pahloo-Lirow ByPass.
The DC instructed the concerned to expedite work and ensure the timely completion of the NH-444 project in the district.
He also emphasized the need to prioritize the construction of the Brazloo Bridge which is coming up an estimated cost of 56 Cr.
Accompanying the DC were Assistant Commissioner Revenue Reyaz Ahmad Shah, Tehsildar Kulgam/Pahloo Executive Engineer NH444 Construction Division Sgr, AEE’s and other Officers.
